The language we subconsciously absorb is the one we most likely use to communicate! My aim is to help you feel confident with your language skills in a relaxed setting which encourages authentic interaction. Bring your ideas and feel free to speak up!

These classes are designed to embrace everyone regardless of their level and command of the language:)

For the basic levels we start from the very first forms of conversation and speaking exercise, such as self presentation, describing an object or talking about one's hobbies or favourite book, with the grammar and vocabulary involved.

Once the student acquires a primary familiarity with the language, I ́d let the student keep training with more speaking exercises, first with communicative situations in which we come across daily like ordering something in a bar, asking for directions or organizing a weekend out ́til he/she ́ll able to express his/her opinion and to have pure and free conversation on various topics, such as nature, technology, the academic and working world, telling about his/her travels or even on actual world news.

On request I can even provide material on our funny dialectal forms, different from region to region :)

Dieser Kurs richtet sich speziell an Grundschüler, welche sich den Unterrichtsinhalt nicht merken können, oftmals Aufgaben aus Zeitgründen nicht korrekt bearbeiten können und denen die Motivation für die Schule fehlt.

Ich möchte euch helfen, wenn ihr euch auch einfachste Sachen nicht merken könnt, schnell abgelenkt werdet oder unter Zeitdruck leitet.
Diese Probleme und noch viele mehr möchte ich angehen und euch Lösungswege mit verschiedenen Methoden und Übungen zeigen.

The French language can come across as a very difficult one (I know...). With my teaching experience, my experience as a translator and love for my mother tongue, I believe I can make you change your mind and help you becoming fluent or at least help you understand much more of this "langue de l'amour". Together, we can find the topic(s) in which you are interested and start from there.

Keeping in mind that practice makes perfect, I believe writing essays (and improving them afterwards) helps. I therefore often give short assignments to keep the learning process going after the class.

I have been teaching online for the last few months and came up with some new ideas, so whether we organise the class online or somewhere in Berlin, is entirely up to you!

My name is Anna and I am studying at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
At grammar school I was in an English profile class, and in addition to in-depth English lessons, I was also able to enjoy geography and biology in English, as well as several student exchanges to England. This was followed by the advanced English course on the Abitur - here I took part in the Model United Nations.
I am a native German speaker and my English language skills correspond to the certified FCE level (final grade A = C1 level).
I am currently also studying educational science and would be happy to gain even more experience in the field of education.

I offer chess tutoring for beginners and advanced players :) My approach is to promote understanding of the game in a playful way and then look at the moves in order to implement your own chess style. Chess is a beautiful game, which even gets more beautiful the more you understand it (everyone can memorize moves 😉). Nowadays, chess is no longer just about reading and memorizing, but also modern! If a learning process is presented in an interactive and fun way, each person can discover a wide variety of things for themselves, I am firmly convinced of that.

My current chess.com ELO is 1800 in 10 minute format and 1700 in 3 minute format.
