Hey, everyone! As a 2nd year undergraduate chemistry student, I will help students understand the course content of chemistry topics at all levels (KS3, GCSE, A-Level) and be able to achieve high marks on any tests or exams they have. Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics are usually not the favorite subjects of students. But, believe me - these subjects are so interesting and can be so joyful. If you join my class I will teach you science and how to learn science, so that you can study it by yourself very soon. You will see that Chemistry and Physics are always all around and inside us and that Mathematics is the beautiful and helpful tool we use to just describe and predict them properly.

Depending on your level and the goal that you want to achieve, I will prepare individual customized lessons, will give you guidance on how to learn and to view things - and especially how to think scientifically.

I studied Chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated there. During and after completing my PhD in Physical Chemistry I worked in Neutron Science and published numerous papers in Physical Sciences. Chemistry is an exact subject and for enough people this is difficult. Chemistry follows a system that you have to master bit by bit. You have to get used to the different subdomains and then let them merge with each other. Chemistry is also referred to as a stack science, in which you apply previously acquired knowledge within new knowledge to be acquired.

I will take you by the proverbial hand and take you step by step through the various sub-areas. I will explain and make you understand this, where we together make exercises from your textbooks.

You will learn the most important theoretical aspects of physical chemistry necessary for solving problems at National and International Chemical Olympiads and put them to use in a myriad of problems from previous Olympiads. We will walk through the solutions for problems from the Olympiads of different countries: Canada, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, and others. All problems will be translated into English, so you will be able to access material that your peers can't. Homework will include solving other problems from past Olympiads and doing simpler practice problems.
Additionally, we will look at the practical applications of the theories and what philosophical implications they might have.
