Classes for aspiring aviators seeking to enter the aviation industry as well as qualified pilots wishing to gain a deeper understanding of particular aspects of flight training. The theoretical syllabus covers all subjects taught at the PPL(A) level and is based on most up to date renown curriculum of Pooley's supported by materials from CAE Oxford. The ATPL syllabus is also taught on request. Lessons comply with both UK CAA and EASA specifications.
معلومات إضافية
Having a VFR 1:500 000 Plotting chart of the UK and Channel Islands would be useful.

من أنا؟
I'm a passionate aviator with first hand flying experience and in-depth studies of the aviation sector. I'm eager to share my knowledge with others to provide a wonderful learning experience that I was once given, which made my pilot journey so remarkable.
المستوى التعليمي
MSc Aviation Operations with Crisis Management
BSc Air Transport with Commercial Pilot Training

I'm a graduate of two aviation focused courses from Buckinghamshire New University and have an education history centred around physics, which was my choice for Polish A-Level equivalent, along with extended mathematics.
الخبرة / المؤهلات
Frozen EASA ATPL(A) with UK CAA ATPL(A) Theory
UK CAA PPL(A)
EASA PPL(A)
I have teaching experience as a current online tutor for maths and English.

For aspiring aviators I've prepared these classes in aviation English, crucial to every pilot's success. Whether you're looking to begin your training soon or have started flying already, I'm offering to help you practice and gain confidence in radiocommunication.

We will cover fundamental communication procedures compliant with latest regulations from UK CAA and EASA, to give you a head start in ground school and prepare you for the exam. We can tackle both VFR and IFR communication principles, depending on your level.

Should you be looking for a safe space to practice making radio calls and boost your confidence behind the microphone, this is the place to look for. I'm more than happy to provide you with realistic scenarios we can role play to really improve your response clarity, accuracy and overall mental capacity, when it comes to processing a lot of information from the radio.

Additionally, I am more than happy to give you an introduction into radio navigation, which overlaps with communication and requires more theoretical preparation from the aspect of physics as well as technical English vocabulary. We would cover the aviation language used whilst using ground based navigation aids/beacons/approach systems. You would also learn about radio waves propagation, frequencies used most commonly in aviation for each system, signal strengths and intensities, as well as known errors.

Based on the global standards followed by Emirates Airlines in assessing Cadet Pilots, here is a detailed and comprehensive description of the test that explains the nature of the challenge and the skills it requires:
Description of the academic entrance exam (Mathematics and Physics)
This test is the first and most important step in the evaluation process, designed to measure candidates' scientific competence and mental abilities. It doesn't simply assess memorization of rules, but rather speed, accuracy, and the ability to apply scientific concepts in practical, aviation-related contexts.
1. Mathematics Component
This section focuses on the computational aspect that a pilot needs to perform navigation and fuel calculations immediately.
• Rapid mental calculation: Performing basic operations (multiplication, division, percentages) without using a calculator.
• Algebra and Geometry: Solving first and second degree equations, and calculating angles and triangles (especially the Pythagorean theorem for calculating paths).
• Data interpretation: Reading complex graphs and tables and extracting results from them with extreme speed.
2. Physics Component
This section aims to ensure the candidate understands the natural laws that govern the movement of an aircraft in the sky.
• Mechanics and motion: Newton's laws, speed, acceleration, and gravity.
• Simplified Aerodynamics: Concepts of pressure, density, and how to generate lift.
• Electricity and Magnetism: The basic principles of electrical circuits and understanding the circuits that support aircraft systems.
• Properties of matter: Understanding the behavior of gases and liquids (Bernoulli's principle) and the effect of heat and atmospheric pressure.
