안녕하세요! I’m Curie, your dedicated tutor who will walk you through the beauty of Korean language and culture.

Are you a total beginner who does not yet know the alphabets?

I study sociology as my major, but I have experiences teaching languages(Korean and English) as a tutor. As a language tutor, I think the most important thing in learning a language is to be motivated and have fun while you learn, which I have successfully done with my students before.

I will also introduce you to the culture, history and interesting facts about my country.

The materials I will use are:
- your favorite type of Korean content that is suitable for your level of proficiency
- lists of words that follow the theme
- textbooks that are provided by Noori-Sejong Institute which is completely free for everyone

The classes are only available in English and Korean, but I also speak some German(B1-B2). If that helps, I will try my best to provide additional explanations in German.

I offer a series of lessons that I adapt according to the learner and the language he wishes to learn. Each language is different, so learning methods can vary.
When you book a lesson, you must reserve a minimum of 1h30 and a maximum of 2 hours per lesson, except for the first lesson where you can reserve 1 hour.

A graduate of East Asian Studies (Autonomous University of Barcelona), I have been giving private lessons in languages such as English and Spanish for seven years, and I have been teaching Korean for two years. I also have experience as a basic-level Korean teacher at the Sejong Institute in Barcelona.

In my undergraduate degree, I majored in Japanese and Korean language and literature. I have been living in Korea for two years, during which I have obtained TOPIK 6 and C2 level of Korean at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree to obtain the official title of Korean teacher.

I think that not being a native speaker of the language and having to learn it from scratch has provided me with very important tools to try to help Spanish speakers approach a language as different as Korean. In my classes, I adapt to the pace and needs of each student, without putting pressure. With me you can work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing comprehension, and we can focus on one of them in particular if required.
