I am a native English teacher from the United States a decade of teaching experience. My goal is to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment that focuses on the needs of each individual student. In addition to teaching English, I proofread academic articles on a freelance basis. I can help you with university assignments, preparation for official exams, and general English skills. I have a passion for teaching that I hope to bring to each class.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Composition and Literature from The University of Oklahoma. In addition, I studied methods of teaching foreign languages and other pedagogy-focused courses to improve my teaching skills.

I provide tutoring and homework support for English. This does not only concern English grammar, spelling and vocabulary, but also reading comprehension, literature and translation theories.

In my lessons I focus entirely on what you need help with. For example, if you would like extra explanation about things you run into, or would like guidance with homework or when preparing a paper, a book summary or a speaking assignment, I would be happy to help you with that!

I keep the classes flexible. For example, these can always be canceled and they do not have to be scheduled with much time in advance. I want to keep my relationship with the student and parents personal, as I am only a student myself.

My name is Zuzia. I was born in Lublin, Poland. I currently live Nijmegen and study Chemistry. I have been an English tutor for the last four years and have experience in working with children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 18. I have worked both in groups and individually, as well as during language immersion summer camps.

I provide a safe, engaging and age-appropriate learning environment with methods and materials carefully tailored for each of my students individually. I allow for freedom in the process and treat mistakes as learning opportunities.
