I specialise in tutoring GCSE English Language and English Literature, helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in both exams. I’m a friendly, focused tutor, I achieved grades 8–6 at GCSE, straight A grades at A-level, and went on to earn a 2:1 from a Russell Group university. I know first-hand what it takes to perform well in exams, and I use that experience to help students feel confident and in control of their learning.

My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I break down complex ideas into simple steps, show students exactly what examiners are looking for, and help them practise those skills until they feel natural. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, whether they need help building foundations or pushing towards top grades.

I work best with students who want to improve and are willing to engage, even if they currently lack confidence. My aim is to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing.
