The class I provide is taught through English. The student can choose between a casual conversation class or to use a textbook of their choosing.
The class can be either 30 minutes (no breaks), 45 minutes (2-minute break) or 1 hour (5-minute break)
If the student chooses a textbook to study during the class, the pages must be provided to the teacher (by email or by an alternative technology) at least 24 hours before the class.
Using internet technology, translation solutions, and extra information can be provided in real time. A 100% translation of the class is not provided.

This academy teaches children of preschool and elementary school age. The classes are taught from books provided by Jung Chul. A range of skills is taught, ranging from phonics, speaking, listening and writing comprehension. Below is a list the responsibilities and achievements at Jung Chul:
• Write, administer, and correct tests
• Created a rubric for speaking tests
• Create a classroom environment that promotes teacher/student interaction in English and task orientation
• Discuss students’ behavioral and performance issues with other teachers
• Write monthly performance reports and presentation evaluations for the students’ parents
• Edited a script and rehearsed the dialogue with the class for a student Youtube video.
• Train new native ESL teachers.
• Write training manuals for training new teachers.
• Coached students on presentation skills for competitions.

I work in two locations for this business where I fulfill different roles as a teacher. I supervise child classes on Saturdays, and I teach an adult class twice a week. Below is a list of the responsibilities at the Ivy League Language Center.
• Adult classes: I prepare vocabulary and grammar for the class based on material sourced from a debate book
• Facilitate discussion and debate of the class’s topics
• Provide and/or help the students express themselves in grammatically correct English
• Child classes: Supervise the completion of exercises in a student book

• Check and correct work
• Provide feedback to the business owner regarding the progress and capabilities of students
