I am 26 years old, originally from Venezuela and Italy, but I've been living in Amsterdam for 8 years. In my free time I enjoy going on hikes, camping and climbing mountains. I can't do that very often unfortunately, so some other hobbies that I have are cooking (and eating pasta), going to the gym, going out with my friends and playing video games (sometimes chess too).

I enjoyed accounting in university so majored in that. Most of my friends found the course challenging, so I started tutoring them. I still enjoy helping others succeed and pass their exams.

My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. In these lessons I like to zoom in on the business plan, what you should pay attention to in the figures and how a third party assesses the data.

Looking for a highly experienced tutor for economics and/or business economics? Then you've come to the right place! I'm a former economics teacher with a first-degree teaching qualification who, since 2021, has dedicated myself entirely to tutoring various subjects. I teach the basics of futures trading, and I bring 2 years of hands-on experience in these markets to help you learn effectively. Futures trading can seem complex at first, but I break it down into simple, practical steps so anyone can understand and start applying it.

This is a course of 5 (60 minute classes), I only teach in english.

Lesson 1: What Futures Are: I explain what a futures contract is, how it represents an agreement to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a future date, and why traders use them.

Lesson 2:. Going Long and Short: You’ll understand the difference between taking a long position (expecting prices to rise) and a short position (expecting prices to fall), and how to apply these strategies in real market scenarios.

Lesson 3:Leverage and Margin: Futures allow you to control large positions with a small amount of capital. I teach how leverage works, how to calculate margin requirements, and why proper risk management is critical to avoid big losses.
