About Me
I have been tutoring and helping students for roughly four years now, both in Singapore and the UK with subjects spanning from biology, chemistry and physics to psychology and art.
I am very passionate about learning, especially learning about psychology and aim to pursue psychology at university and as a career.
I may not have degree-level experience yet but I have been a straight A* student in psychology over my A-level course and have gotten 100% in all of my essays and almost all of my exams, so have the knowledge, experience, and passion to help others expand their understanding of psychology as a subject.
I am a very enthusiastic teacher but need my students to be willing to learn and grow as well as I tailor my lessons and teaching style to each individual person I tutor to help them unlock their full potential.
When tutoring I have seen a major improvement in my students and peers' grades, understanding of the subject, and confidence in answering questions and performing exams.
Education
I have achieved a grade A* for A-level AQA Psychology, EPQ, and AQA Fine Art, and a grade A in OCR A-level Biology.
I have achieved IGCSE's grades 9-7.
I aim to study Psychology at Trinity College Dublin.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been tutoring my peers and younger students in Psychology A level for the past two years and have been very happy to see their grades and confidence growing with the subject as a result. As well as this I was tutoring GCSE students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for a year and too saw immense improvements in their grades and attitude towards learning.

dennis shaping air - photoshoots with photographic model / ballerina

Within a small group, a unique opportunity to have a private photoshoot with an experienced photographic model/ballerina with the added dimension of professional photographic lighting. Artists wishing to explore the aesthetic of classical life poses, the fluidity of dance/movement and more unusual physically demanding short term photographic poses will be guided through the alchemy of photo composition using light, angle and shadow. Studio lighting, in tandem with filters and reflectors, enables us to explore ‘in-camera:’ framing a shot, perspective, subtleties and nuances of colour playing on the human form, plus the impact of angle and degree of light and shadow (chiaroscuro). Essential knowledge of your own camera, whether it is compact, bridge or DSLR, includes how to access: shutter priority, aperture priority, ISO and exposure compensation, to maximise the potential of the shoot.

Christopher
My teaching philosophy centres around helping students discover their instinctive creative voices through experimental drawing techniques. I believe in the power of intuitive creation, where students are encouraged to move beyond traditional methods, tap into their creativity, and embrace innovative approaches to drawing. This process empowers them to build a strong personal style while gaining the technical skills necessary to express their ideas confidently.

As a lecturer at Central Saint Martin's i use my years of teaching experience to help every student unlock their potential, guiding them in finding their unique artistic identity and confidently navigating their creative journeys. Whether you're looking to build a portfolio, develop new drawing skills, or simply explore new creative approaches, I offer a personalised, hands-on approach that meets each student where they are, helping them grow and evolve as an artist. Fashion design isn't just about learning techniques; it's about discovering and expressing your instinctive creative voice.

In my lessons, we’ll focus on intuition-driven design—moving beyond traditional, formulaic methods and embracing a more personal, organic approach to creating fashion. Designing with intuition: You’ll learn how to trust your instincts in the design process, whether you’re sketching new ideas or creating full garments. Exploring fabric and silhouette: Through hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to experiment with different materials, shapes, and textures to create unique and bold designs. Breaking traditional boundaries: My approach challenges you to explore unconventional forms, colours, and patterns, encouraging designs that reflect your own artistic vision.
