My name is Jorge Ramirez and I am an industrial engineer. I have taught Spanish and organized language exchanges at the Community Center in England. I love teaching my language and helping my students improve their language skills. We will always use topics of interest that potentiate communication in a dynamic and interactive way to speak and understand spoken Spanish.

I like numbers, I studied for 5 years industrial engineering, I have experience preparing students for passing exams. I help you to deepen themes of empowerment, logarithms, functions, equations and others that are of your interest. We will develop exercises together and make use of interactive tools that improve your learning level.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students.

Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location.

Location face-to-face classes: Citizen M Amsterdam, at your home or in the public library.

After having received a bachelor in Aerospace Engineering and Philosophy & Mathematics, I am now doing research at the University of Cambridge in the field of AI. Because of this, I am only able to give online classes.

My teaching is based on a principles of compassion, understanding and personalisation. I believe that every student is different and that for every student a tailor-made approach is required to create the perfect lesson. After all, each of us retains information in a different way.
