With over 10 years experience, I have taught primary aged children in outstanding UK and International Schools. I have a wealth of experience in tutoring children, in English and Maths, as well as teaching younger children how to read, using the robust phonics system from the British Curriculum. I currently teach full time at an outstanding international school in Amsterdam and I am available after school, for private one to one tutoring.
I have a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Childhood Studies and a passion for teaching, guiding the children's learning thorough the enthusiasm and engagement it creates. I create effective learning environments to increase the learning potential of all students. My teaching style founded in trust, openness and establishing positive relationships on which to hang high expectations, enabling children to achieve their potential.
I have full Netherlands and UK police checks and is fully qualified to work with children.
