Learning physics is tough. Whether it's astronomy, nuclear physics or forces, there are plenty of topics in physics that can be hard to get your head around. I have studied both GCSE and A-Level physics with a 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-Level, so I know what it takes to learn all of that information and perform your best in the final exam. It still isn't easy, but with the right teaching and practice, we can make sure that you have the best shot at a good grade in your exam, and that revision is stress free! I also teach physics below GCSE level to anyone who might be thinking about taking it as a GCSE, just wanting a taste of what the subject is like and how you can start learning about things that will get you ahead in the future!

I studied AQA physics at A-Level, and Edexcel physics at GCSE, but I am more than happy to apply my knowledge to the syllabuses of other exam boards.

My name is Robert, and I believe that with the right understanding, anyone can improve quickly at a subject. When I was doing my GCSEs and A-Levels, I found that when I found something hard, a lot of the time it was just because I hadn't had it explained in the right way. Even if you think you know how to do something, sometimes you are really only repeating it, and without truly understanding it you aren't reaching your full potential.

That's why, as a tutor, I focus on providing explanations that work for you, and I try to understand what would fit your learning style best. I'm always willing to go over anything no matter how small, because I know exactly how frustrating it is to not get something, especially the small things.

Another focus I have is making learning enjoyable, because if you don't enjoy it, then you won't learn as effectively. So, all I ask for from a student is that you're eager to learn, open-minded to new explanations, and that you want to enjoy your studies.

As a chemical engineering student, I know how frustrating and complex chemistry can be. I have an A in chemistry at A-Level, and a 9 in chemistry at GCSE, and I am dedicated to using that knowledge to help you understand everything you need to know about chemistry to get a good final grade. While I studied Edexcel chemistry at GCSE, and Edexel chemistry at A-Level, I am more than happy to apply my knowledge to teaching the syllabuses of other exam boards.

My focus is on explaining things in a way that you really understand it, instead of just being able to repeat it. The nice thing about chemistry is that a lot of the work has been done for you by other people, like the periodic table for example, and a lot of the hard work is knowing some key concepts that will help you link everything together. I know chemistry seems hard, but when you understand it properly, it can be a lot more enjoyable.
