Violin lessons.

Having finished my Bachelor's degree in Spain and Master's in Groningen, I am currently a freelance performer and teacher.
With plenty of experience in orchestras and chamber music all around Europe, when I went to Groningen I could explore other genres and I am currently playing in different ensembles related with classical, pop, jazz, folk, experimental or improvisation.
My teaching method comes directly from renowned teachers as Kati Sebestyen and Juan Luis Gallego, but also adds my own intuition and self-discovery and acquired knowledge during pedagogy courses.
During my lessons I create a good base for violin playing, understanding that it is all a combination of steps that we need to put together with consciousness, patience, joy and practice. Finally it is all about doing music and enjoy. The control of our mind and body is what give us the tools to make an instrument sound :)
With genuine pedagogical intention, my lessons are very dynamic, joyful and efficient. I also like to play along with my students and use backing tracks.

I am Nerea. I am originally from Zaragoza but my family comes from different parts of Spain, so I really have a rich mix of cultures within the country. I have always loved Spanish grammar and literature, and now I made it part of my professional life.
During my lessons, I take material from real videos, news, literature etc. to help you understand the Spanish language and culture in a deeper way. I also like to explain the comparisons between Spanish and South American uses of the language.
With genuine pedagogical intention, and through my experience, I have developed a method in my lessons that touches grammar, listening, reading and conversation in an interactive and dynamic way.
I also find important to speak in Spanish all the time to my students, of course adapting to the level. Since I started learning Dutch myself, I realised about the importance of creating a good grammar base that can save you a lot of time in the future!
