Hello! My name is Zoe. I am a Native English speaker from Cape Town, South Africa with a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certificate. I am ready to start English language lessons from my quiet home in De Pip, Amsterdam. I specialise in private tutoring, usually lasting at least an hour per session. My main methodology is that for that one hour we will speak English! It may be broken and no doubt a bit wobbly.. BUT, speaking and working our way through it together is the ONLY way to really learn in my opinion! I assign a doable amount of homework after every lesson to ensure that students get a small repetition and encourage them to go over the new vocabulary themselves in their own time and in their own voice! A bit more about me: I studied Film & Media at the University of Cape Town before moving to Amsterdam to work in the industry. I am now in the process of completing my second degree at the UVA in Psychology.
