Since moving to Cluj four years ago, as someone born and bred in the UK, with a clear English accent, I've been told many times I'm an exotic bird in these parts so should have a go at teaching English, or at least assisting intermediate speakers with their conversation skills. I've been working as a TV documentary editor for nearly 30 years, lately largely remotely, so have a keen ear for precise language. During 2022 I engaged regularly with a group of Ukrainian refugees who desired to improve their English conversational abilities. I'd be happy to converse online, meet at your place or mine, or anywhere mutually convenient in the Cluj area. As a trained actor in my early years, I would also be happy to help with voice projection skills, accent, speech delivery and presentation, through reading, listening and discussing ways of expression.
