I provide booster classes in Arithmetic and reasoning for KS1 and KS2 to revise for SATs in Year 6 but also the years prior to this. Additionally, I provide Reading booster classes for KS1 and KS2 with a focus on comprehension skills including inference and predictions. Classes are in groups according to year group and are charged suggested per child.

I teach primary school children from Year 2 upwards in Maths, English and in preparation for SATs in Year 6. My resources are all current and up to date and relevant in today’s National Curriculum specification. I have full access to the topics to be covered in each year group in Maths and am happy to mirror and match that which is being completed termly at school as well as focusing on more challenging topics. Each lesson will begin with Arithmetic questions for fluency. Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
