I am an Italian synthetic organic chemist by training, having completed my undergraduate and post-graduate education in University of Milan, where I specialised in organic chemistry with a thesis on the total synthesis of a natural compound called Evodiamine. I then moved to the UK, where I was awarded a PhD on synthetic methodology on the synthesis of statically hindered cyclopropanes. I later took several post-doctoral experiences in medicinal chemistry, and also gained industrial experience in CRO, progressing form Senior role to Leader. Aside from chemistry lesson, I am very happy to help students to improve their italian, or develop a closer understanding of latin.
