Hi! I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia in the UK. What 3+ years of tutoring has taught me is that I help students grow by helping them understand and appreciate the English language through examining and dissecting various literary texts, as well as the use of practice papers and innovative brain teasers, thus helping them achieve higher grades.

What better way to learn a language than communicating with a native speaker in real-time? Duolingo can only teach you so much, but from personal experience, the most important aspect of learning a new language is to be fully immersed in its culture to understand the intricacies of that language. I am completely fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, which gives me the advantage of explaining how you can improve effectively in the language you understand.
