في هذا الدرس سيتعلم المتعلم أساسيات الموسيقى بطريقة عملية وممتعة تعتمد على التدرج الواضح من البداية وحتى مرحلة التمكن التدريجي. سأبدأ معه من أهم الأسس التي يقوم عليها العزف السليم: طريقة الجلوس، وضع اليد، التحكم في القوس أو الأصابع، كيفية إنتاج نغمة ثابتة وواضحة، ثم كيفية قراءة الإيقاع وفهمه قبل تطبيقه على التمرينات والمقاطع.

يعتمد الدرس على الجمع بين الشرح الهادئ والتطبيق المباشر؛ فبعد كل خطوة من الشرح، ننتقل إلى تمارين بسيطة وغير معقدة، تساعد المتعلم على الشعور بالسيطرة على الآلة. أقدّم تمارين قصيرة ومتدرجة، مثل تمارين المرونة، تقوية الأصابع، الانتقالات البطيئة، السلالم الموسيقية بطريقة تناسب المستوى، ثم ننتقل لمهارات أعلى حسب قدرة المتعلم وتطوره.

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. Je m'appelle Camille, j'ai 26ans et j'ai grandi en France, où j’ai terminé ma formation de violon auprès de la soliste Marie Cantagrill. J’ai ensuite obtenu mon Bachelor à l’Université des Arts de Graz (Autriche), et j’ai également étudié un an à l’Académie de musique de Cracovie avec le professeur Wojciech Koprowski.

Actuellement, je poursuis mes études de violon en pédagogie (IGP – pédagogie instrumentale et vocale) à l’Université de musique et des arts du spectacle de Vienne (MDW).

Grâce à mon parcours auprès de professeurs issus de divers pays, j’ai acquis de nombreuses connaissances en pédagogie, techniques d’étude, musicalité, etc., que j’aimerais beaucoup partager avec vous !

I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain, etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide).

I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. If you already have some experience, I can add to it.

I've been playing and studying piano since age 6 (over 25 years ago). I began with classical music, and later added Ragtime, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Chord theory.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance, Classical Music (4 years). I have participated in numerous Piano Masterclasses in Europe, and I studied with great pianists. I still learn from different Highly Accomplished Musicians. I believe learning never stops.

I have much to share with my students.

TEACHING STYLE

I am a very patient teacher. I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality.

I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos.

I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits.

My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students for their Piano Exams, like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grades 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas).

I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old, and my youngest one is 3 years old. They made great progress, and I am sure you could do the same.

I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano.

I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation.

I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons.

CURRICULUM

I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years.

For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs.

Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible.

I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.

Gabriel’s teaching style is really impressive, the flow and the content of every lessons are very good and he has 4 CAMERAS that shows his face, keyboard and his view on a sideways so any student can visualize the proper posture and a clear view of the movement of his arms and fingers as he teach. My daughter is only 7 years old and as you can imagine asking her to sit for 1 hour to learn piano is quite a challenge but Gabriel handles it pretty well, and he is understanding of my child’s playfulness during the class and he knows also when to remind her to focus. Gabriel has an impressive amount of patience and knowledge about piano that’s why my daughter Ameco is enjoying and learning so much from him. I’m very happy we found him. At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson.

In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.

My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music.

During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups.

Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults.

As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!
