ACW is a formal course offered in the American Liberal Arts Program (ALAP). For American students, it is essential that they take writing courses such as English Composition (EC), Critical thinking and Written Communication (CTWC), Technical Writing (TW), so as to foster their technical and critical skills which they utlilize in short essays, long essays, research papers, M.A theses, and PhD dissertations.
During this course, the student will be taught in accordance with his academic skills. Different students will be assigned different academic tools to build his writing and critical skills. Eventually, the student will learn how to defend his formal position in formal writings.
The course will also offer opportunities to write creatively and expression opinions in creative manners, including short poetry and short stories.

I am giving this course, because I love academic and creative writing. My advice to students is not to consider writing as an intellectual burden, but as a "liberty of critical imagination". Whatever the interest of my students in this course, whather their academic career and specific love for written communcation, I will commit myself to adapt their love with my teaching.

This writing module is based on a pedagogy that has a sharp focus on writing as practice and craft, but in a practical and experiential work environment. Rigorous training in the processes of writing and editing will accompany one-on-one guidance from the Senior Editors and mentors including myself, and involve rewriting and studying real submissions across fiction, humour, commentary, poetry and more.

En este módulo, te daré la información necesaria para empezar a construir ese diseño sólido con garantías.
