1) General Information We will cover the following five skills: -Reading -Oral comprehension -Grammar -Written expression -Oral expression 2) How will we organize our classes? I suggest that we start by reading a text for training the pronunciation and for acquiring more vocabulary. We will not do an exhaustive analysis of the text (which is something I may suggest in the context of a homework). We will proceed with grammar: I will introduce you to the topic (e.g., verb tense), followed by some exercise solving. If we have time left, we will finish the class with either: -A dictation exercise to practice listening comprehension and writing -An informal conversation to practice oral interaction Obviously, we can change this plan and/or its order to suit your learning needs and ensure you come to classes motivated and interested! 3) What about homework? I suggest one of the following (if you have enough time between classes, we can combine them): -Translating and/or writing a text -Reading a text and answering some questions to practice reading comprehension -Completing grammar exercises
