My name is Doranzyò and I am more than happy to welcome you to one of my Dutch lessons.

This course is for anyone at any (CEFR) level. A0, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

Let me tell you a little about me so you can get a better idea of who I am and what my working method is:

Language and its roots have interested me for as long as I live and no day goes by without me learning a language or thinking about it.

It probably sounds lame, but this benefits you incredibily. I shall teach you the language with passion and you won’t forget a thing. Psychology is also one of my passions and with my knowledge about it I know precisely how to teach you in the best way possible with proven psychological methods to remember information way faster and in a fun way.

I am self-taught and through my own studies I have acquired broad, yet highly specialised knowledge about all kinds of subjects, including history, psychology, neurology, philosophy and etymology and linguistics.

Language has interested me since I can remember. I speak fluent Dutch, English and Norwegian Bokmål and am also learning German, French and Afrikaans. I know a lot about the natural development of language. This allows me to call myself a language expert and etymologist.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.
For the last seven years, I’ve been teaching Spanish in America and Europe to a broad variety of students: children/teenage tutoring, in-company adult students, online orientation and freelance translation for diverse projects.

I follow a flexible method adapting to the student’s level and personal goals.

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
