Ik geef al ongeveer 10 jaar les als leraar en schooleigenaar. Ik heb mijn eigen school en website om Chinees te studeren. De leeftijden van de studenten zijn van 3 tot volwassenen. Ik ben opgegroeid en heb een opleiding gevolgd in China. Ik ben in november 2019 naar Europa verhuisd om Chinees te leren.
Ik ben leuk, actief, erg geduldig en verantwoordelijk. Ik ben al meer dan 10 jaar nooit te laat gekomen in al mijn lessen.
Voor kinderlessen maak ik liedjes, video's, tekenfilms, geef les en leg tegelijkertijd uit. Ze leren heel snel en vervelen zich nooit als ze enthousiast zijn met een leuke leraar en materialen. Ik geloof dat interesse de beste leermeester is. Dus ik doe mijn best om me voor de lessen voor te bereiden en materiaal na de lessen naar de studenten te sturen.

I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher.

I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner.

In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun.

The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.).

As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. I run private lessons, where all levels are welcome. But if you’re a total beginner then I offer basic classes to help you find the way to get into it.

I develop diverse methods of teaching for the students. For the around 5-8 years old kids, I would like to set certain games to play with them, thereby the kids can learn the new language during the interaction and communication. In this way, different media, like color pictures, puppets, or storybooks are essential to make the course very attractive. For the teenager or advanced students, a structuralized teaching content based on scenarios or textbook could help the students to develop their language capacity efficiently in different aspects – listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Besides, I would like to give a deeper perspective for the Chinese- not only learning the language from the textbooks, but also the knowledge of the language, the culture, and the literature.

Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Lernende mit mittleren Vorkenntnissen in Mandarin, die ihre mündliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit, ihr Schreiben und ihr Leseverständnis weiter ausbauen möchten.

Gemeinsam sprechen, lesen und schreiben wir zu alltagsnahen und aktuellen Themen (von Studium, Arbeit und Reisen bis zu Social Media und chinesischer Kultur). Du lernst, Gespräche flüssiger zu führen, klar strukturierte Texte zu verfassen und authentische Materialien (Artikel, kurze Essays, Geschichten) besser zu verstehen.

Im Unterricht arbeiten wir mit Dialogen, Rollenspielen, Diskussionen, Schreibaufgaben mit individuellem Feedback sowie Lese-Strategien. Dabei entdecken wir Mandarin als die meistgesprochene Sprache der Welt und als eine Sprache mit großer Zukunft in Beruf und Alltag.

I’m Kurt, based in Munich. I teach Mandarin Chinese and Japanese with a linguistic background. Find learning an exotic, Asian language cool but don't know where to get started with? Or are you already been frustrated by them: why Japanese drops the subject all the time? Why Chinese has no past tense while you still know when it happened? And more importantly, while Pinyin or Hiragana seems sufficient for writing the language, why do I have to learn the stupid Hanzi or Kanji at all? I got you.
