Ik ben gespecialiseerd in het geven van wiskunde. Ik geef wiskunde aan alle klassen en niveau’s van het VO. Mijn doel is om de lestof zo begrijpelijk te maken dat leerlingen geen moeite meer hebben met hun struikelblokken. Ik bespreek altijd eerst de lesstof en daarna laat ik leerlingen zelf de opgaven maken en spring in als leerlingen ergens op vastlopen. Ik probeer de uitleg zo duidelijk mogelijk te maken zodat het kwartje bij de leerling valt.

Ik ben een gedreven docent met een passie voor wiskunde. Ik vind het leuk op kennis over te drageb en ben goed in presenteren. Ik houd ervan om bij leerlingen het kwartje te zien vallen. Dat geeft mij veel voldoening. Ik haak in op de valkuilen van leerlingen en probeer de stof zo begrijpelijk mogelijk te maken voor leerlingen. Op die manier boeken leerlingen vooruitgang met mijn lessen.

Ik heb in 6 jaar gymnasium afgerond met profiel NG/NT met wiskunde B.

Ik heb VWO wiskunde B afgerond met eindcijfer 8.

Ik heb al eerst werktuigbouwkunde gestudeerd aan TUDelft. Ik heb voor het vak calculus gemiddeld een 7.3 gehaald.

Ik ben heel goed in calculus en schoolwiskunde en besloot daarna om leraar te worden en te stoppen met werktuigbouwkunde aan de TUDelft.

Ik heb al twee jaar ervaring met bijles geven bij de leerlingen thuis. Ik heb al eerder examenleerlingen VMBO begeleid naar het examen wiskunde. Ook heb ik ervaring met leerling van onderbouw HAVO/VWO, maar in principe ben ik geschikt als leraar voor alle klassen en niveau’s van het VO.

Egal ob Schule, Studium oder Beruf - lernen um ein Fach bestehen zu müssen macht weder Spaß noch viel Sinn, da man das Meiste bald auch schon wieder vergessen hat.
Aber wie geht es besser?
Ich habe mehrfach die Erfahrung gemacht, wie viel vom Erfolg davon abhängt, welche Emotionen mit dem Lernen verbunden werden. Deshalb werde ich versuchen, ein Umfeld zu schaffen, in dem du dich frei fühlst auch Fehler zu machen -denn Fehler sind wichtig zum Lernen! Ich setze auf Verständnis, Geduld und Neugier, um ein positives Verhältnis zum Lernen zu entwickeln, statt Druck auszuüben.

In Anlehnung an den Neurobiologen Gerald Hüther sehe ich die Kunst darin, genau richtig große Herausforderungen zu stellen, um spannend, aber nicht beängstigend zu sein, so dass man automatisch Freude am Entdecken entwickelt.

Hintergrundinformation zu mir:
ich bin Diplomingenieurin (Maschinenbau) mit 3 Jahren Arbeitserfahrung, sowie einem Master in Bionik (Querschnittsdisziplin zwischen Biologie und Ingenieurwissenschaften) und habe einen PhD in Umweltschutz von Bergregionen. Ich war beim Alpenverein als Jugendleiterin aktiv.
