Hi there, I am a veteran native French Teacher who has tutored the language for the last two years here in Portland, Oregon, both online and in person. I currently tutor beginner-to-advanced French on multiple platforms, and am sure that we could find a time slot that works for you. To start, we would learn pronunciation patterns and -beginner-intermediate grammar constructions, as well as increasing your vocabulary. Once we progress in the course we will start learning intermediate grammar constructions, and helping expanding your vocabulary, all while relying heavily on real-time conversational practice rather than rote memorization to ensure the apprehension of a natural accent and natural speaking patterns. Hi there! My name is Quinn K., and I am a TEFL-certified professional English/Foreign language teacher with a passion for a multitude of languages. I have taught English all over the pacific rim, in Vietnam, Korea and Japan, both at professional English-teaching schools and with private tutoring.

I also speak and tutor a wide variety of foreign languages, including French, Spanish, Cantonese, and Korean. I have extensive background in all of these languages (grammar, pronunciation, etc.), and can teach them as fluidly as I can English. I have tutored these languages privately for two years now here in Portland.

In Vietnam I privately tutored a wide variety of age groups in English, ranging from Kindergarten to college-aged students. I tutored younger age groups in English Vocabulary and Conversation skills, and college students for IELTS/TOEFL prep and general professional English. In Seoul, South Korea I worked at a school for North Korean refugees, teaching conversational English to large classes. In Japan, I worked at an after-school program teaching English to middle school students, employing ESL games and structured lessons for students. Through these various English-teaching endeavors, I believe I have a strong skill-set for teaching English to all age groups, and in the full range of contexts (Conversational-to business English).

In combination with my TEFL certification, which has strengthened the backbone of my lessons in professional English, my qualifications and experiences make me the perfect pick for all of your English tutoring needs :)

I learned these languages in both professional academic environments (I studied Korean at Hanyang University, and Thai at Chiang Mai University) as well as in natural conversational environments, which has given me a sharp and well-rounded knowledge in each language. I can speak each language fluidly, and practice them with native speakers on a daily basis. I believe that my vast knowledge of various languages gives me an edge over other tutors who are not able to fluently switch between a variety of languages to fit the student's needs.

I am Ms. Sarah Samman, I teach and provide tutoring in Arabic and English, and I also teach Social Studies, Geography, and History to middle school students. I also teach Math and Science to elementary school students.
My specialization is English, with a minor in education and teaching methods. Being proficient in Arabic, I have been able to give private lessons and provide foundational instruction in Arabic as well.
