I'm half French, half Chinese. I'm 35 years old, married and have a 4 and half daughter. We speak mostly English at home. I currently have 4 students between the ages of 9 - 40. I adapt my classes according to the level and needs of students. Furthermore, I create my own lesson plans, around comprehension/reading/pronunciation/videos/dialogues, a little bit of grammar, etc. I try to adapt as much as possible to the students needs.

I have a TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) degree obtained in London.

I was born in a multi-linguistic environment, my mother spoke fluently 6 languages! I myself speak English, French and Dutch.

I first grew up in Belgium, then moved to London for 13 years. I have also lived in New York and Jamaica for intermittent periods.

Hello there! My name is Marcella, born and raised in the Netherlands and fond of travelling all around the globe. Today I own a travel website and write for some magazines. To make a bit more cash and to keep up with my former life as a teacher, I teach some extra classes to teenagers and adults alike. I am a qualified teacher of the English language with a specialisation in working with teenagers who are challenged by ADHD, Autism, ADD and PDDNOS. After working as an English teacher and mentor in different types of schools in the Netherlands, Belgium and South Africa I am currently living in Paris and very motivated to help students improve their English in different ways.

I used to successfully run a homework institution before leaving the Netherlands where I helped teenagers focus, plan, learn and reflect on their own process. I am willing to teach broader than English only and help teenagers plan, find motivation back and get back on track in case the need is there. You will learn the best and most polite way to convey your needs or ideas. Standard business language and idioms are part of the course. Role-playing, listening skills, and lots of verbal practice are done as well.

Get to know the conversation, understand, read and read the British English language with a British British and qualified EFL professor.
