Hello....my name is Jigme. I have been in Online stage for four years to teach Tibetan as a second language. I'm Graduated with Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan Language. Teaching and experiencing new methods has been my interests and going to the gym and playing basketball is my hobby. I have 7 years of teaching experience and 4 years of online teaching to various people from many countries. I have tried many teaching methods and Flipped Classroom, Bloom's Taxonomy and Four Strands are the ones I'm using the most. I'm expert at letting the student speak more and write more. I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. I work as a Spanish teacher since 2019 in various countries, helping numerous students to improve their speaking, listening and writing skills.

I studied Nutrition and Dietetics (4 years bachelor) at Complutense University of Madrid. Later and determined by my love for languages, I completed the BA in Linguistics in Leiden University, following the Brain and Cognition specialization, which focuses in how language and second languages learning works in a neural level.

Depending on the goal, the learning or lesson method is different. Normally, the first day I meet the student and we talk about what he or she expects and the topics we need to pay more attention. From that, I organise and structure a learning plan for reaching the desired goals (listening, speaking, writing, etc) or level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

TECHNOLOGIES FOR LEARNING.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance languages and literature since 2012. I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I have created a teaching method for online courses.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it.
-The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course.
-If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners).
-The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets.
-Motivation, laughter, good mood :-)

My method:
- It's based on speaking.
-For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center).
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam.
