My classes will introduce you to the beauty of flowing sequences and how to connect you breath with your movements. I will focus on energizing your body through core strenghth and dynamic flows or more grounding standing series. Explore your body through movement in a light and playful way and improve your flexibility while learning how to use your breath in a healing way.

I'm offering private yoga sessions suitable for one person or small groups.

What I like about teaching:
I'm interested in encouraging people to use their breath in an empowering and healing way. Further to that I like the combination of flowing movements and the cultivation of groundedness both with deep Ujjayi Breath. Through hands-on assists I like to support my
students to get a deeper sensation of the pose and experience the borders of their bodies. In my classes I like to hold space for my students to experiment, discover their strength and to overcome fears.

Yogi’s and anyone can benefit from Barre classes.

You can book me for retreats, private (luxury) trips on demand as your coach/ instructor.

Finally, I have a nutrition diploma by the Univeristy of Groningen, where I am also currently being trained to become an MD. My nutrition diploma is an advantage to you as a coach- I can guide you in injury recovery, detox and assist you with certain medical conditions such as IBS or other gut diseases in the autoimmune spectrum.

My personal goal is to share the experience of "health, happiness, and harmony in life through yoga" (Swami Niranjanananda's guideline) with others. I firmly believe that yoga is a powerful tool to promote physical and mental well-being, find inner peace, and lead a balanced life. This philosophy flows into my teaching and inspires my students to begin their own journey towards greater well-being and harmony.

After practicing yoga intensively since 2008, both in Satyananda ashrams in Greece and India, as well as daily as a personal sadhana, and initiated in Karma Sannyasa by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati, my heart has been even more dedicated to the Satyananda system of yoga. My yogic name (Sannyasin) reflects my deep connection to this tradition. My commitment to yoga is also evident in my continuous education. Since 2008, I have been participating in numerous yoga and meditation workshops and seminars in Europe and India. In 2024, I successfully completed my Yoga Alliance training in Vienna, further refining my skills as a yoga teacher. For the past year, I have been teaching yoga privately to adults, gaining valuable experience in imparting yoga practices.

My passion for yoga, coupled with my musical background, allows me to create unique and inspiring yoga classes. My academic career includes a Master's degree in Musicology with a specialization in Music Education, as well as various Bachelor's degrees in Classical Piano, Opera Singing, Music Composition, and Theory. As a flutist and passionate kirtan singer, I bring a special musical touch to the yoga practice. A special advantage is my ability to teach yoga primarily in English and Greek. These language skills allow me to reach a wide range of students and offer international classes.

I’m Austrian, grew up in Japan, and now live in Malta with my two young children. I speak English, German, and Japanese. Daily meditation (Triratna style) is an essential part of my life and deeply influences my teaching. I believe yoga is a journey inward, not a performance.

🧭 The First Discovery — Yoga as a Way of Life
In my late twenties, while backpacking through North India, I found myself in Rishikesh —
not knowing it was one of the world’s most sacred places for yoga. There, I trained with inspiring teachers in Hatha and Iyengar yoga,
including Ashish Sharma. I joined a retreat at the Yoga-Gang Centre in Old Rajpur, and for the first time, truly understood yoga as more than physical movement —
it was a philosophical, mindful approach to life.

🩺 The Second Discovery — Yoga as Healing
Years later, after giving birth, I suffered from intense postnatal back pain.
I couldn’t even do basic poses. After seeing a chiropractor, I slowly returned to my mat.
With consistent Iyengar practice, within a few months, my pain was gone.
This experience showed me the therapeutic power of yoga — how it can heal and restore the body from within.

The history of Raqs Sharqi, the Oriental dance, originally began in the Kingdom of Egypt and was initially practiced exclusively in private chambers. Only later was this dance performed to entertain the aristocracy. The essence of the dance was a fertility ritual, and the dancer was a conduit for divine energy. I personally have loved this style of dance for a very long time. I have completed numerous training courses in Vienna and abroad, including with the world-renowned stars Hossam and Serena Ramzy (Drumzy School of Music and Dance UK), where I graduated as a professional Egyptian solo dancer. After many years of rigorous daily training, countless workshops, international performances, and shows, I have achieved the perfection of an Egyptian solo dancer and love and live it with all my heart. As an experienced Oriental dancer, I love to entertain my audience, touch their hearts, and transport them to the magical world of One Thousand and One Nights. I am equally happy to introduce both beginners and experienced dancers to the art of the fascinating Egyptian solo dance.
