Hello, my name's Christina, but everyone calls me Nike, and I'm from Sardinia, an Italian island with an amazing culture and breathtaking natural landscapes. I have a bachelor's degree in Italian Literature, although my thesis focused on Hispano-American Literature. I love learning languages, so I am well aware of the challenges this can involve (especially when you're a bit shy). I have years of experience tutoring students both in-person and online from all around the world. I'm currently finishing my master's degree in Modern Literature and I enjoy reading and writing short stories, I love literature, music, nature, and photography, and I always enjoy a good hike in the woods with my dog.

My teaching experience primarily involves teaching Italian, Italian Literature, and grammar to students who are not native speakers. Last year, I earned my CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) certification in order to improve my teaching strategies.

I would love to teach Italian and focus on offering my students topics of conversation and reading related to their interests and Italian culture. I work in a very natural way, making the student able to speak simple sentences from the very first class. As a general rule I try to teach my classes in Italian, so that the student gets a very effective "full immersion" from the very beginning (support languages, like Dutch, English or French are used if absolutely necessary).
