Playing the violin might sound difficult. Being honest, it can be sometimes tricky, especially if you don't find the method which fits you the best :).
I use Suzuki method for teaching the violin. Suzuki believes that everyone can learn music in the right environment.
It doesn't matter how old you are, or if you have any background in music or not, I will make a tailor-made program for you based on your needs and level. More important, I will make sure that you enjoy the learning process, and you are having fun!

I started learning music from age 6, and I continued my passion by
choosing the violin as my favorite instrument. At the age of 11, I entered Tehran Conservatory and started learning music academically. I followed my heart and finished
my studies by getting a master degree in violin performance.

I can't imagine my life without music and without the joy of being able to create something beautiful. Playing music gives you a chance to create and design the sound in a way that YOU like. I can't describe how satisfying it is to be able to do that.

My goal in life is to spread and share these magical moments with anyone who is willing to experience that.

Ik geef bij les aan kinderen die moeite hebben met reken /lees onderwijs bij de onder en midden bouw. Helaas merken steeds meer ouders (ook vanwege passend onderwijs) dat hun kind niet het tempo bijhoudt wat op school wordt gevraagd. Ik werk zelf al meer dan 20 jaar als onderwijs assistente, sinds 2 jaar geef ik extra reken en lees ondersteuning in het reguliere onderwijs. Veel kinderen valken soms net buiten de boot en verdienen net wat meer aandacht en diepgang. Ik werk vanuit de methode waar het kind op school mee werkt.

Hello! My name is Ana, I am 32 years old and I am a violin teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience working with children and adults, specializing in creating a supportive environment for beginners and advanced players. I am based in Maastricht and I teach at my violin studio in Scharn.

My teaching focuses on developing solid technique and musicality in a friendly and encouraging environment. I help students build a strong foundation and enjoy music-making. Over the years I have developed my own teaching method which includes elements from ABRSM, Trinity, Suzuki and Galamian methods, as well as covers standard violin repertoire. This makes learning structured and fun. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations in Maastricht, where everybody is welcome to join and support! Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand.

A bit about my teaching background: both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high-level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists.

I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialization in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018.

Lessons can be in Dutch, English or Spanish.

Online courses through Zoom and Microsoft Teams; all levels or at the teacher's place.
In the beginning of the lesson I explain what we will do during the lesson, which is exclusively prepared for you according your needs and wishes; and I always ask for your feedback.

I use the method: Inlíngua, the "Português XXI" European Portuguese and “Falar...Ler...Escrever” for Brazilian Portuguese and much more: short films, songs, dialogues, PowerPoints etc.
The lessons are (extremely) interactive

Certified violinist / viola player gives (viola) violin lessons to 4 to ... year olds. In short, anyone can learn to play the violin or viola!

The lessons are given with the motto: what you like to do, you do better. So having fun in a musical way is central.

A lesson lasts 30 minutes and is given in Bree.

I'm a professional violin and viola player who teaches students of all ages and levels.
During my musical education I had the opportunity to study in different conservatories in Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland, awakening in me a passion for teaching the violin and viola and thus beginning to give private lessons and coaching youth orchestras.

In my lessons I help the student to feel enjoyment while playing, and feel happy with their instrument in order to connect with their musical imagination.
Considering the level and age, different methods and exercises will structure the lesson in order to get good aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body posture.

Not only interested in classical music?
The stable technical base you will reach during the lessons will give you the tools to feel free and comfortable playing in other styles with your instrument.

The most important thing for me to begin with is to know the purpose and level of the student. After that we choose a teaching method together.
I learn all the skills in different ways (games, videos, books...) The lesson never gets boring. We speak Spanish or Dutch from day one.
