Hello!
I am excited to be your potential teacher. I have 3 years of experience working with children at an International School, where most of our students were second language learners. I like to create different activities, tailored to the student's needs that will ensure comprehension. Learning a language is not easy, but with a little fun and dedication, it goes much smoother!

News articles and textbooks, as well as audiovisual materials and a friendly, professional environment, provide the basis for effective, authentic and interactive expression and communication.

Hello, I'm Rebecca, I'm from the USA and I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in international relations at Ghent University. I completed the TEFL certificate in 2020 and have over two years of professional experience teaching private English lessons. I am offering 1:1 private English lessons (online or in person if you are in Ghent) for students and professionals. One hour lesson (60 minutes) costs depending on your exact needs.

I also review/edit cover letters, CVs and academic essays, just ask!

I prefer to teach intermediate/advanced students who are looking to widen their professional vocabulary and perfect pronunciation, are preparing for the TOEFL or IELTS exam, or are wanting to practice for an upcoming interview in English.

My teaching style is very open and flexible – you can always suggest new themes or concepts and I will build my lessons based off of your feedback. I want you to learn in the best way possible.

Through years of experience I have developed a coaching method in which the pupil, student or coachee as a person is central with an eye for context and specific circumstances.

French as a second mother tongue and English/German commonly used for professional activity. I investigate which study method suits the student best. In doing so, I focus on how we can memorize and automate in a simple and efficient way. We always make the link with the essence of what is learned.
