I teach not only to help the student succeed, but to make him understand the importance and the logic of science, arousing their curiosity and knowledge.

Holding two masters (biology and human ecology), I used to study the populations of blue sharks in the South West Equatorial Atlantic Ocean. I have experience teaching in four languages, both at university and in high schools.

As Biologist, I worked for many years as a researcher in the biology of shark populations in the Southwest Equatorial Atlantic Ocean. As Human Ecologist I've given lessons of Environmental Conservation in Ecuador and Bolivia. Moreover, I have experience as a university professor on vertebrates' zoology and teaching biology in high schools. Besides, I speak English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

I am passionate for the natural sciences and try to teach my students to understand the scientific method and to develop a critical thinking, instead of memorizing concepts.

Do you have a second session, do you want to advance or deepen your knowledge? I teach mainly during the summer holidays. My classes are aimed at students in primary school, humanities, or bachelor's degrees at university/college. I have been giving private lessons for several years and have been a university tutor. The class begins by setting the student's expectations: do they want help solving exercises, is there a problem understanding? I favor examples during my explanations to provide more concrete information. I can also prepare additional exercises when I see it is necessary or when the student requests it.
