I enjoy imparting knowledge into others and enriching and enlightening young minds. I want to act as the springboard in propelling children and adolescents into higher education and to generally instil a life-long passion for learning. I want to be the key to unlocking things: these lightbulb and eureka moments will hopefully be the catalyst for subsequent independent learning. I am an empathetic and well-rounded individual with plenty of experience working in schools and tuition centres and thereby am fully aware of the relevant safeguarding procedures that are axiomatic to working with young people - I have a fully up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate. I also have an extensive background in neurodiversity and understand the nuances of these neurological differences that will enable me to devise specific interventions designed to get the best out of these students.

About Me
Fun, empathetic, personable, approachable, affable.
I break-down abstract concepts by recourse to relatable analogies. This can often be the gateway to acquiring that initial understanding which we can then build upon.
I also try to give my students the basic tools before overwhelming them with any technical or jargon terms, ensuring that the topic is accessible from the outset.
I liaise with both the parent and the child beforehand so that I can tailor my lessons to match what the child is currently doing in school.
Above all, I am patient and I fully understand that we all have different strengths, weaknesses and interests. I have an extensive background in neurodiversity as well as lot of hands-on SEN experience, so I will be able to tailor lessons accordingly.

After being in the legal field for over 5 years and providing support to children in their english, maths and law classes, I would like to believe that i have the right skills to teach your child/ or yourself in these subjects.
