At the moment I am a master's student of Classical music program at Conservatorium van Amsterdam, specializing in Piano Performance, under the supervision of Naum Grubert.

I am a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Piano performance from both the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music and Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music.

My previous work experience includes 6 years of private tutoring, as well as working as a teacher in private music school Masterskaya muzykanta in Moscow and private comprehensive school Innova in Riga in a position of secondary school music teacher, for 2 academic years in total. I did a 1-year long internship in 2 music schools in Latvia: Jazeps Medins' Riga 1st School of Music and Pavuls Jurjans school of Music. My past and present students represent a wide variety of age groups (7-62 years) and ethnicities, so the classes were held in three languages (Latvian, English, and Russian).

I had been practicing pedagogy for three years under the supervision of Augusta Malinkovskaja, Ped.D. My piano performance teacher was Tatiana Zelikman, whose famous students include Daniil Trifanov, Konstantin Lifschitz, Olga Pashcencko, etc. Professors’ classes were focused on the development of piano playing skills with an emphasis on pedagogy. Previously obtained undergraduate degrees included courses in psychology, educational psychology, teacher ethics, innovative methods in education, piano playing methodology, and pedagogical internship, among many others.

By learning to play piano, one learns not only what it means to approach something in a healthy, intelligent, curious, open, and highly skilled way (just like Olympic athletes), but also what it means to have patience, to learn what beauty is and can be, and how one can discover and be reminded of what is already in oneself.

The lessons will be adapted completely to the individuals needs: where their preferences for genre lie, what their level is, the amount of time they have and are willing to put into learning to play piano and speak the language of the great composers. My own personal goal is to create a completely personalized approach to help the student find the way which works for them. There is no standardization.

Additionally, piano playing and learning to play piano can't be separated from learning about eh theory and history behind it. That is an element which will be seamlessly incorporated into each lesson and which I personally find will help the individual grow not only as a pianist but as an individual in whatever they want to do.

My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer.
I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology).
I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam.

With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. I can combine different practices and teach basic techniques in repertoire that matches the personality of the student (from classical to contemporary, pop, rock and more). Based on the teaching experiences I have, I can consider myself as a teacher with patience, motivating style and an open mind. Hey! My name is Daan and I am a keyboard player, producer and songwriter and I am happy to teach piano at your home in Amsterdam.

I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam pop department and am also very active in bands (as a keyboardist, singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) and as a producer/songwriter in various genres.

As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels.
