Through our lessons you will be able to both develop your own musical taste and improving technical skills, in order to better enjoy the music of this instrument. An historical perspective will be taken in consideration, in order to better approach the music repertoire written before 1800.

Hello all music lovers, my name is Alberto and I am an Italian musician currently living and working in Ghent.
After my classical flute Diploma I decided to focus on the field of Early Music, that's why I moved to The Netherlands, where I graduated in historical flutes at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam.
Besides all aspects of music, I am interested in politics and human rights, topics I had the opportunity to study during my Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and International Studies.
When I am not practicing or having classes I am probably on a trip or in the nature. I would describe myself as an open minded, curious, and very easygoing person, with lots of interests, and one who likes to challenge himself.

I have been teaching Flute for several years, both in Italy and abroad, and it's what I have always wanted to do since I was a kid. I had the opportunity to enjoy sharing my musical knowledge during my Italian years, and I would just love to keep doing this here in Belgium.
