My name is Caroline. I speak four languages, and I love traveling and spending time in the countries I discover to better understand their culture and deepen my knowledge of the language.
After years of traveling and working as a teacher and translator, moving seamlessly from one language to another has become second nature to me, and I continue to learn new ones. This skill, developed over time, is something I enjoy sharing with my students.

I have been teaching for 20 years in language academies, secondary schools, and companies, offering both individual and group classes, including home lessons.
I also work as a translator, interpreter, and tour guide. Additionally, I am a somatic therapist and educator (specializing in therapies that help regulate the nervous system and address stress and anxiety through body awareness) as well as a coach. For those interested, I can integrate these tools into lessons to enhance the learning process, to support the development of new language skills and to improve self-confidence and ease when writing or speaking.
For three years, I taught history and literature in French at the high school level.
Before studying philosophy, I completed a two-year multidisciplinary program after secondary school, covering history, geography, literature, philosophy, mathematics, economics, and sociology. This program provided me with strong methodological skills, cultural insights, and specialized linguistic knowledge across these disciplines. Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
