My goal as an ESL teacher is to help students become confident English speakers. Each lesson is student-centered, meaning I adapt my teaching method to fit the needs of the student. I believe that the most rewarding part of learning any language is being able to interact with other people. During our lessons, we will build a basis of vocabulary and grammar that will then be used in communication through speaking and listening. Proper pronunciation is an important part of effective communication; therefore, I work hard to help students hear exactly how they can improve their speech. I know that learning a foreign language can be intimidating, so I strive to create a friendly learning environment for all students!
