Reflecting on my experience as a secondary school student, I encountered challenges in grasping scientific concepts. However, my physics teacher employed diverse range of teaching methods to explain these ideas. This personal journey underscored for me that being an exceptional teacher goes beyond the mere transmission of information and aiding students in exam success. Instead, it emphasizes the need for educators to possess the ability to ignite students' enthusiasm for knowledge and curiosity.
I particularly enjoy teaching adolescents, children aged thirteen to sixteen due to the countless challenges they face during this transitional phase into adulthood. Consequently, I seize opportunities in my lessons to offer emotional guidance when applicable. Throughout my teaching career at the secondary level, I have gained the expertise to instil confidence in this age group by employing strategies both within and beyond the classroom. Additionally, I have acquired the skills to intellectually and socially engage them, fostering the confidence needed for active participation in various activities.
