When studying for an exam, it is essential not only to have a strong grasp of the content of the course, but also a knowledge of specific exam skills which allow you to attain the best possible marks in your subject. As a previous student of Scottish Higher and Advanced Higher exams (having attained "A" results in Advanced Higher History and Mathematics, and Higher History, Mathematics and Classical Studies), I have an in-depth knowledge of Scottish qualifications and the skills which must be demonstrated in order to succeed in the examination. As well as developing exam strategies, I will focus on areas of the course which a particular student is struggling with. Through this tailored approach, I can identify and resolve potential weaknesses or gaps in the student's knowledge, so their ability to succeed in their studies will be improved.
