During my studies in General Linguistics and Spanish, I did a lot of research on L1 and L2 language acquisition and found out that self-paced learning with the full immersion approach leads to more engaged and successful progress in an online classroom. An honest conversation about goals, dreams, or personal achievements can expand the objectives of each lesson and further boosts students’ confidence. I learned about the immersion approach during my first job at the school here in Belgrade, where I taught and mentored groups of students with special needs who needed specifically tailored classes in which they would make a more relatable connection to the language in order to conquer it. That was one of the most meaningful and joyful years of my life. During my work at BetaKid, my enthusiasm was shared by hundreds of students who have remained loyal to me to this day. I want to be a valuable resource for students. I prefer to discuss many different topics and carefully integrate them into previously introduced contexts. That way we can target the vocabulary or grammar of the day so that students can make connections and expand their opinions as well as their knowledge. In my teaching, I always strive to make my students feel heard and understood. On the whole, I have an incredible passion for my profession and would love to share my enthusiasm with learners on this platform! I hope to hear from you soon!
