Arabic Language for Beginners - Children,

This beginner-level Arabic course is designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of the Arabic language. The class introduces the foundations of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), including the Arabic alphabet, basic grammar structures, essential vocabulary, and everyday expressions.
Students will learn how to read and write in Arabic, engage in simple conversations, and understand common greetings, numbers, days of the week, and phrases for everyday situations. Emphasis is placed on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as cultural insights into the Arab-speaking world.
Through interactive activities, role-playing, and multimedia resources, students will build confidence in using Arabic in real-life contexts.

In my recent role, I designed ESL lesson plans and curricula tailored to newly arrived clients and students, emphasizing essential language skills, job readiness, and cultural integration. I played a key role in both in-person and online student enrollment and facilitated ESOL classes to provide individualized needs-based instruction.
Beyond the classroom, I ensured the smooth operation of administrative processes by managing student records, conducting data entry, and coordinating academic advising appointments. I also supported graduate school application processes by handling confidential materials, organizing letters of recommendation, and facilitating communication between students and their committees.
My instructional responsibilities extended to leading micro-teaching sessions both online and in person for undergraduate students and professors. These sessions showcased my ability to implement effective teaching strategies, develop targeted lesson plans, and create instructional materials for diverse classroom environments.
To me, ESL/EFL instruction is about building bridges across cultures and empowering learners with practical, confident communication skills. I strive to foster intercultural competence while ensuring each learner progresses at their own pace through a responsive and inclusive approach. I’m also committed to continuous professional development through workshops, mentorships, and up-to-date instructional practices.
