ACW is a formal course offered in the American Liberal Arts Program (ALAP). For American students, it is essential that they take writing courses such as English Composition (EC), Critical thinking and Written Communication (CTWC), Technical Writing (TW), so as to foster their technical and critical skills which they utlilize in short essays, long essays, research papers, M.A theses, and PhD dissertations.
During this course, the student will be taught in accordance with his academic skills. Different students will be assigned different academic tools to build his writing and critical skills. Eventually, the student will learn how to defend his formal position in formal writings.
The course will also offer opportunities to write creatively and expression opinions in creative manners, including short poetry and short stories.

I am giving this course, because I love academic and creative writing. My advice to students is not to consider writing as an intellectual burden, but as a "liberty of critical imagination". Would you like to approach the creative writing of music?

Like any form of creative expression, music has its rules, rooted in perception and in the context around us.

We will be able to work on fundamental concepts of musical expression, valid in all genres and also delve into the area that interests you the most (baroque, classical, pop, jazz...)

My course has a non-academic approach and it is open to all: whether you are professionals who want to deepen their musical knowledge, or you are amateurs or beginners we can build the perfect course for you and that will allow you to express yourself or simply to better understand the music you are listening to.

The only thing I highly recommend is knowing how to read music, because it allows us to go much faster. If you are not able, we can start there.

I intend to create a productive learning environment, whereby you as the student will be practicing a lot so that your progress is permanent and you can easily apply your new knowledge in class.
