I create a learning experience (content and pace) adapted to your needs: speaking fluently, DELF/ DALF test preparation, conversations to help with travel or relocation or simply the pleasure of talking about subjects you are interested in. We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. Grammar points are handled as and when they come up.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Na jaren als groepsleerkracht (groep 1 t/m 8) te hebben gewerkt geef ik nu online begeleiding en bijles aan leerlingen die net dat beetje extra hulp nodig hebben. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald.
