Trusted teacher: have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. Trusted teacher: Having worked with over 200 students across various international curricula, I provide a high-level, integrated approach to the core STEM subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. My lessons are tailored to the specific mark schemes and requirements of IGCSE, GCSE, and the IB Diploma (SL/HL). Subject Specializations Mathematics: From IGCSE Extended/Additional Math to IB Math AA/AI (HL & SL). We focus on logic, function analysis, and the critical "investigative" style of exam questions. Physics: Mastering the laws of physics, from Mechanics and Waves to Electromagnetism and Atomic Physics, with a heavy focus on the mathematical application of formulas. Chemistry: Bridging the gap between theory and the lab. We cover everything from Atomic Structure and Stoichiometry to Organic Chemistry and Energetics. The "Exam-First" Mindset I move students away from the "school mindset" of just learning topics to the "examiner mindset" of scoring points. Mark Scheme Mastery: I teach you how to decode what the examiner is looking for in multi-step "show your work" questions. Efficiency Strategies: For IGCSE/GCSE multiple-choice and IB Paper 1, we focus on quick-solving techniques and eliminating distractors. Bridging the Subjects: Because I teach all three, I help students see the connections, like the math in Physics or the physics in Chemistry, making the entire STEM workload feel more cohesive and less overwhelming. I provide the clarity needed to handle the high volume of material in these curricula, ensuring students are not just "studying," but are strategically prepared for top-tier grades (9s in IGCSE or 7s in IB).

Trusted teacher: By PROFESSOR & PROFESSIONAL COACH Hello, First and foremost, I would like to wish you a warm welcome back to school and a peaceful year ahead as you work towards your goals. I am aware that the economic situation can sometimes be challenging, which is why I offer my services to accompany your child throughout their academic journey with ease and serenity. Throughout my career as a Graduate Teacher and Graduate Professional Coach, I have worked in various contexts. Until last year, I taught in front of whole classes as well as in private lessons. Since this year, I have been providing face-to-face private lessons at home and also via video conferencing, a mode of teaching that I have practiced with university students for the past ten years. My teaching environment has undergone significant changes, especially with the emergence of the Covid pandemic. This shift has led our secondary school students to adapt to the new mode of learning and communication, namely video conferencing. Despite the success of this transition, it is important to acknowledge that our younger students still require attention and a psycho-emotional connection in order to develop their autonomy peacefully. Over the past two decades, I have implemented proven methodological approaches, some of which are borrowed from theater techniques, such as the Davis method (mind mappings/colors), and my specialty, professional coaching, which aims to enhance your child's motivation. My main goal is to foster agility in your child across all subjects, not only for the present but also for their future when I will no longer be by their side. Ultimately, my objective goes beyond simply focusing on gaining points in a subject. I firmly believe in this approach due to my experience as a Mental Coach working with young athletes between Nice and Cannes, as well as throughout Europe via video conferencing, as part of their preparation for the French Tennis Championships. It has reinforced my conviction that working on a subject should be a nurtured objective that encompasses personal growth and development. As a Professor in General Education, specializing mainly in scientific subjects, I suggest supporting your child in gaining agility in constructing their academic path during this unique period that is filled with both opportunities and challenges. Looking forward to meeting you soon, Corinne. Teacher and Professional Coach Courses offered: - Mathematics / Sciences / Biology - French / French as a Foreign Language - History geography 💼 1000 Trained professionals 🎓🏆 1000 Students and High-Level Athletes in 11 Universities, Sports Clubs, and Schools 🎧 5000 Hours of collective training carried out in person and through E-Learning 🎤 1000 Face-to-Face and E-Learning Conference Hours 👫 6000 Individual Training Hours | Personalized support.

Mounir has been tutoring my daughter for a few months (French syllabus, 3eme - Brevet level). She loves the lessons and looks forward to their weekly Zoom meeting. Mounir easily builds a good rapport with his students and makes lessons interesting and fun, building confidence along the way. He is methodical and organised in his approach and makes sure to go over any aspects of the lessons which may have been less well covered in class, leaving the student with a solid grasp of the entire syllabus. He also recommended alternative revision cards and exercise books with corrections which my daughter finds much more user friendly than the ones provided at her school. Overall a very satisfactory experience and we would recommend Mounir without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent maths tutor.
