Met mijn afwisselende lessen conversatie, afgewisseld met lezen, luisteren en korte testen bouwen we spelenderwijs aan een betere uitspraak en begrip. De lessen worden aangepast aan jouw behoeften en we kunnen zeker ook aan specifieke doelen werken.
Ik heb meer dan 40 jaar ervaring met de Engelse taal, heb > 16 jaar gewoond in Zuid West Engeland en vele jaren gewerkt in het bedrijfsleven zowel in de UK als in Nederland. Met veel -hands on- ervaring met de taal en het intern verbeteren van het taalgebruik van de internationale collega's (Thailand, Filippijnen, Nederlanders etc).heb ik nu ook een TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate en heb mij inmiddels toegelegd op lesgeven.

Ook geef ik graag les en bijles in de Nederlandse taal voor anderstaligen en help u graag bij het verbreden van kennis van niet alleen de taal maar ook Nederlandse gewoonten en tradities.

Ik geef lessen die inhoudelijk afwisselend zijn en daardoor zeker interessant blijven; met een vleugje humor hier en daar want ook dat hoort zeker bij de Engelse taal. Na in diverse landen gewoond te hebben o.a. Portugal, Frankrijk en het Verenigd Koninkrijk woon ik nu dichtbij Alkmaar (NH). Mijn kennis van vooral de Engelse taal maar zeker ook andere talen hebben er altijd toe bijgedragen aan een goed contact met de mensen lokaal alsook in het bedrijfsleven aangezien je altijd een 'toegevoegde waarde' hebt. Nu wil ik graag ook lokaal bij de mensen thuis lesgeven en online. Door open te staan voor kennis, taal en gebruiken van andere nationaliteiten heb ik mijn leven verrijkt en wil ik graag deze inspiratie overbrengen op anderen.

I’ve been teaching English for almost 25 years and teach exclusively online via Teams.

I am TEFL certified, with additional certifications in Business English (TEFL-TBE) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEFL-TEYL).

Hello everyone,

I offer French lessons from English for all ages and all levels.

I have a great experience in tutoring, especially for children and teenagers. I followed several secondary-school pupils for several years in the learning of English and Spanish, with great outcomes. The most important part of my method of learning is to provide you the confidence to speak clearly and audibly in front of others.

The lessons are all private and at home, with particularly interactive learning methods.

The lessons provide a full refresher course in the vocabulary and the expression but also the syntax and the French grammar, using the methods of dictations, oral comprehensions and creative paragraphs.
I provide school material and photocopies.

Portuguese (or "Brazilian") is my native language. French too, as I moved very young to Switzerland (Geneva, the "French part"). I speak both fluently but now living in the Netherlands, I am using more English (and of course, Dutch!). In order to keep speaking the languages I love, I decided to give some classes.
