In this class I help kids learn math and science in a fun and easy way. I explain things step by step and use games, examples, and simple activities so everything is easier to understand. The goal is to help students feel more confident, ask questions, and enjoy learning math and science. It is about understanding how things work, learning how to think logically, and enjoying the process of learning. I adapt my teaching to the needs of each child and encourage curiosity, creativity and independent thinking.

Ik ben een gepassioneerde en geduldige bijlesdocent met een sterke achtergrond in wiskunde en wetenschap. Ik leg concepten graag duidelijk en stap voor stap uit, en ik begrijp goed waar leerlingen vaak tegenaan lopen, omdat ik zelf het profiel Natuur & Techniek heb afgerond. Ik streef ernaar leren zowel plezierig als effectief te maken door mijn lessen aan te passen aan de behoeften en het niveau van elke leerling.

Education

Ik zit zelf nog in mijn 6de jaar secundair onderwijs en volg de richting wetenschappen-wiskunde. Ik vind het een hele interessante en leuke richting. Ik ga volgend jaar beginnen met mijn opleiding biomedische in KUL.

Ik ben vaardig in het aanpassen van lessen aan verschillende leerstijlen en doelen. Ik heb ervaring met het geven van bijles in wiskunde en wetenschap aan leerlingen in zowel het basisonderwijs als het voortgezet onderwijs, waarbij ik hen help zelfvertrouwen te krijgen en hun begrip te verbeteren.

I am a management engineer specializing in finance and management control (Université Libre de Bruxelles). I am in possession of a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences for computer science issued by the ULB also.

I offer private lessons or group (maximum 5 students) for 5 years already to students of all levels. I regularly organize guidance and permanence for BA1 and BA2 students at the ULB in mathematics, physics and chemistry.

I am free both during the week and at weekends during the academic year 2016 - 2017.

I speak French and English fluently. French is my mother tongue. As far as English is concerned, I hold a Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (IELTS).

As an engineer, I would like to help other students navigate the sometimes complex world of mathematics and physics. During my studies, I tutored for 6 years in secondary schools in the region of The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam and Antwerp. I try to go through the course material interactively with the student and link theoretical concepts as much as possible to examples from our daily lives in order to prepare and motivate the student.

I am a physics student at the University of Amsterdam where I started my Masters in Theoretical Physics in September 2023. Passionate about maths and physics since I was little, I plan to continue my university studies and do a doctorate, in the goal of becoming a researcher.

But math hasn't always been easy for me. In 3rd humanity, I had great difficulty in math and I had to take private lessons from a great teacher. The classes not only helped me a lot, but also taught me to love math. Passing on my passion in an active way has become important to me, and I hope to be able to help other students in difficulty as I have been helped!

During a private lesson, I am attentive, patient and I adapt to the rhythm of each person.
At first we discuss the theory and I make sure that it is well understood by the student. Then, to learn math, practice is the key! I always try to give adapted exercises and correct mistakes together, because understanding your mistakes is the basis for progress.

The way of teaching is as important as the content of the course, which is why I make it a point of honor to prepare my lessons in advance and to always be available to answer my students' questions.

My courses are aimed at all humanities and university students who have difficulties in mathematics or physics, whether one-off or for longer follow-up.

Titulaire d'une licence en gestion, je suis en dernière année d'études bachelier en Chimie. Je propose des cours de répétition à domicile aux élèves du secondaire. Aussi, je fais aussi de l'accompagnement scolaire à un groupe d'élèves. Le but est de détecter les lacunes de l'élève et d'y remédier.
