You don't have to be a native speaker, but you can learn much from Chinese classes, from basic greetings to Chinese culture. For beginners, the class will focus on the basic stuff of learning Mandarin, like pronunciation and writing some very simple Chinese characters; for intermediate and advanced learners, the class will be learning more characters, and also include reading, speaking, writing, and listening practice, depends on your level.
