Violin for Adult Beginners: from Zero to Your Favorite Music

I'm excited to welcome here all the violin lovers, those who want to play the most beautiful instrument in the world, but don't know where to start.
It'll be a great pleasure for me to open up for you a whole new world of violin. Together we will learn everything about the instrument, learn only necessary music theory and make it all the way through: from the very first steps like posture and hands' position, to playing your favorite songs!
Those who are doubting about being back to music after decades without practice are welcomed, too! I'll help you remember all the basis you've been given, work on new techniques, learn new pieces, and help you to bring music back to your life.
Being taught by three different professors during my school and conservatory, taking part in master-classes given by famous musicians, and of course teaching university students on-campus myself, I've gathered a wide range of teaching methods, specific exercises, violin lifehacks, and a lot of love and passion for my job.
Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try to reply ASAP. And welcome to class!

Über mich
I've been teaching violin in Nantong University since February 2023. In May 2025 one of my students from Double Degree Program of our university was chosen to continue his studies in Siena Conservatory in Italy.
Currently I'm also an associate principal violin of Nantong University Symphony Orchestra.
Before coming to China, I worked as a principal violinist in the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan for 8 years, also performed as a soloist and a part of different chamber ensembles. Visited more than 10 countries with concerts.
I have laureate prizes from several international music competitions, and a State Medal "Shukhrat" for services in art, given personally by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyaev.
My teaching philosophy.
My main purpose is to wake up your inner music lover, nurture him, maintain and develop your feelings towards music. At the same time I try to pay attention to the detailed work, because it's impossible to imagine violin practice without working on intonation, sound producing, and other issues.
Currently I'm also an associate principal violin of Nantong University Symphony Orchestra.

How I can help you:
1) My favorite role is a home tutor for a kid who already plays the violin, or has offline classes with another teacher, but needs some help at home. We can work together on such details like intonation, phrasing, sound, virtuosity, etc. I can help to choose the appropriate program, or just work on that one given by your teacher.
2) I also can give occasional classes when you need some urgent help: maybe your teacher is on holiday, and you're preparing for important exam/recording/concert. These are very straightforward classes, with precise goals and detailed practice.
3) Starting from scratch. Please pay attention that I accept this kind of inquiries only with kids older than 12. We will learn the instrument, must-have music theory, and make all the way through, from zero to first favorite melodies played by your child!

❗️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: I don't do violin classes online from zero for kids from 7 to 12 years, because I strongly believe that personal contact, being able to help the kid physically is essential in this age. I can give classes to children of this age though if they have another teacher offline, and just need some help at home.
