Do you wish to learn Greek for everyday life or for professional reasons? Are you a Greek culture enthusiast? This language is unique due to its long, rich history and uninterrupted continuity. We still use words found in the Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey! I will teach you this language respecting your own pace and personal needs. Apart from Grammar and Syntaxis, I use literature, poetry and theater plays to familiarize the student with the subtleties of Greek. I hold a BA in Archaeology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Master in Art History from the same establishment and two PhD’s; one in Art History (University of Edinburgh) and another in Chinese Studies (University of Exeter). From 2007 until 2019, during my long studies, I lived in Great Britain and France where I had the opportunity to work as a tutor and a school teacher. I am certain that I could help you indulge in the pleasures of Greek language and culture.

We will make the lessons both orally and practically. All the exercises are in the appropriate level, starting with the lowest level and continue with the highest. In each lesson the student will have some exercises as homework. In the end of each month we will have a small repeat!! I am also a braille tutor for both Greek and English!
