How do we do that?
My goal is to keep students motivated and to lose the fear of speaking a second language, this, by interacting with the students in a way that would help him or her deal with every day situations.

Learing about other cultures while learning the language is super fun and also will give you nice idioms, language tricks and fun facts you could share at your next dinner party!

My classes are dynamic, interactive and playful but at the same time we work hard with the speaking and grammar!

I assign homework to my students, but don ́t worry, I won ́t get angry if you don ́t do your assignments!
I test my students every month to see how they are progressing and review the concepts that are not quite there yet.

This course is fitted individually, depending on the needs of the student.

If the student would like to focus on grammar then the material should be sent beforehand so I can have a chance to look at it and prepare for any questions that may arise.

If the student would like to focus on spelling and/or spoken English then no material should be sent beforehand, just an overview of the request.

If the student would like to focus on reading I'll supply the materials depending on their level.

As for math, I only teach high school students and first year University students. The material for the class should be sent to me beforehand so I can be better prepared to answer any questions.

In a personal learning route you walk on your own level and at your own pace through vocabulary, grammar and especially talking.
No school stuff, but a lot of variety to stimulate your GOESTING for the language and give a boost to your self-confidence.

I currently work as a private language teacher in Belgium and I have a good level of English. As I am not a native speaker, I do not give advanced lessons. People from any age, including kids, can follow my English lessons for levels A1, A2 and B1.

I am an interpreter by training and have decided to provide private language lessons in addition to translation and interpretation. Whoever wants to improve her or his command of English quickly and in a focused way has come to the right place.

At the start of a new series of lessons, I first test the level of the student, so that I know where I am and what the way forward is.
I ask my student what his or her ultimate goal is and try to adjust my lessons accordingly. Does she or he want to have a better command of the grammar rules? Does she or he want to be able to speak more confidently in front of an audience? Does she or he want to communicate with international friends or colleagues?
In general, I organize my language lessons according to three pillars: Language proficiency, which mainly consists of vocabulary and expressions and can be considered as the building blocks; Grammar, which includes the rules of the language and is the mortar or binder of the language; and Culture, which includes knowledge about the countries in which a language is spoken and can be seen as the architectural style.

I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes. I will do my best to make the classes fun by combining audio and visual material in my teaching. My field of study is Social and Cultural Anthropology.
